Squamish Office
Bring anything that makes you feel comfortable, but I have coffee, tea, a blanket, toys for kids, and art supplies.
This office is located on the second floor, #3 but if you cannot make the trip here for any reason, I can always make a field trip to you. :)
If you are early, please wait until the time of your appointment, then knock and come right in!


Nature Based
Any session can be nature based or "walk-and-talk".
This might look like finding a sunspot on a patch of grass, walking through the estuary, or sitting next to water.
The benefits of therapy and being in nature compound! Here are a few reasons why you might consider going on a "field trip":
* Movement: helps move tension out of the body, releases endorphins, and help with brain processing/consolidation of our experiences between hemispheres; ask me more about this re:eye movement in particular!
*Walking side-by-side can feel like an easier way of getting started for some (vs facing one another).
*Being in nature is grounding and our bodies respond unconsciously to the scents, sights, sounds, and feel of our surroundings. Connecting to our senses helps to rapidly reduce anxiety, depression, and improve our overall well-being.
One thing to note is that I cannot guarantee privacy or an interruption-free experience in public spaces (though the interruptions are usually by cute dogs).
Online Counselling
Virtual counselling may be a good fit if:
*You are located in a rural or remote part of BC where therapist options are limited.
*You are a digital nomad, travel often, work online, or move between communities and want continuity.
*You prefer the comfort of your own space and are more at ease.
*You have a little one napping or kids nearby.
*Your tea and coffee options are better than mine. ;)
